We are working on 2D shapes right now, so I thought it would be fun to turn it into a fall craft making a 2D shape tree. I’ve incorporated 2D shapes, colors, numbers, and fine motor skills into this free printable.
First, the students will color the shapes the colors according to the directions.
Next, they’ll cut out all of the shapes.
When they have all of the pieces cut out, they’ll need the, “My Shape Tree” page. They will glue all of the pieces onto the page using the shapes to make an apple tree.
Lastly, they will count all of the shapes they used and write them on the correct lines.
I love when we can incorporate all different types of math into one project!
