Every year the  Simply Kinder Facebook Group For Teachers hosts a big Gingerbread Exchange.  It’s super fun and we always have really great participation from all over the country.  It’s easy, you sign up, make gingerbreads with your class, and mail them to a partnering class.  The students really enjoy this project and teachers come back year after year to participate.  We have collectively had about 800 classrooms with over 10,000 students participate over the years.

Pretty amazing and I am very thankful to have hosted this large of an exchange!  I want to personally thank each and every teacher who signed up for this project, it is definitely going the extra mile to make learning meaningful and fun!

Looking for some examples of what the classes send?  Here are some of my favorites over the years:

Many of the projects were made using this Gingerbread Template Set in the Simply Kinder  Teachers Pay Teachers store!  Free so you can print it off and make some gingerbread people with your students!
Free Gingerbread Man templates from Simply Kinder.

The Simply Kinder Facebook Group has several community projects each year, so if you are an early childhood teacher please join us.
