It’s not each to talk about certain topics in kindergarten and first grade. We want to teach history, ideas, and definitely teach the truth BUT we also want to guard our little ones. And so here are some Martin Luther King Kindergarten Printables that will work perfectly in your early childhood classrooms.
Martin Luther King No Prep Printables
This unit is FILLED with activities all about Dr. King and also lots of support for reading, writing and math. It includes a close read, writing pages, and graphic organizers. It also includes printables for working on addition, counting, subtraction, alphabet, counting to 120, reading words, and so much more! It also has a write the room activity because these centers are virtually no prep and easy to pull off! Click here to check it out.

Martin Luther King Book with Nonfiction Pictures
Again, it’s not always easy to talk about certain concepts in kindergarten. And so we wrote this book to get the message across in a developmentally appropriate way. The book comes in full size for a teacher book and half size so the students can each have one too. And I just loved the pictures so much, I had to provide you with some awesome writing activities with them too. Click here to check it out.

Martin Luther King Craft & Story
We love to write stories in kindergarten. And we love crafts too and so we have married the two into these Writing Craft stories. Students use the graphic organizers and content above to write a story. And then they complete the cute craft as the illustration. Students just love this! Click here to check it out.
