Summer is right around the corner so we’ve compiled a summer bucket list for teachers! Check out this list that aims to take advantage of relaxation and some productive projects to cross off!
Summer is just around the corner and I know that I am beyond excited to cross some items off of my summer bucket list! I try to relax as much as possible, have a ton of fun, and be somewhat productive during my two months away from school and kiddos. I think it is important to turn our teacher brain off for a bit and enjoy time off! Here is what I have on my summer bucket list!
Summer Bucket List
Relaxation:
-Read a book, a real adult-just-for-fun-no-thinking-involved book
-Spend a day, or many wonderful days, hanging out by the pool
-Take a bubble bath
-Watch the sunrise
-Watch the sunset
-Stroll around a new park
-Spend a day browsing through books in the bookstore
-Stay in bed until 10 am or later one day (Do you all have a hard time sleeping in?!)
-Stargaze
-Get a mani and pedi
Fun:
-Visit a theme park with adult friends and act like kids for the day
-Try something new – I am thinking paddle boarding or yoga
-Go on a hike and explore a new area
-Complete a DIY project
-Visit a local restaurant that I’ve never been to before
-Have breakfast for dinner
-Movie marathon with some homemade cookies
-Jump off the dock at the lake
-Find a new recipe to try
Productivity:
-Organize my closets
-Clean out the cabinets
-Clean the windows – inside and out
-Collect a bag, or two or three, of items to donate
-Vacuum out the car
-Get to school and clean out a closet
-Create a yearly pacing guide
-Print and laminate a few items for school – let’s be real, it is REALLY hard not to do school stuff at all during the summer
So tell me…what is on your summer bucket list?
