Halloween Counting Activity

Every year I see these fun little containers around Halloween and think… those would make a great Halloween Counting Activity for centers.  But I have never really known how to pull it together – how do I assign a number value to each bucket ruining the cute little buckets with my horrible handwriting?

Free Halloween Counting Activity using those cute little buckets and counters. Makes a great center for preschool or kindergarten.

So I created these Counting Mats for Halloween buckets.  I know they are a simple square with a number on them, but they will make it easy to just buy some buckets and collect some stuff to count into them and you have a great little math center that is academic and fun.

And there are lots of variations out there for the buckets and lots of different thing you can use as counters.  Here are some of my favorites.

Candy Pumpkin Counting Center - Free counting mats for a fun Halloween Center for Kindergarten.

Skeleton Counters - Free Counting Mats for a Halloween Math Center

Candy Corn Counting Game - Free counting mats for Halloween bucket counting center!

Free mats for counting spiders into pumpkin cups!

Spider Counting Center - Free

Calderon and Bones Counting Center with free counting mats. Kids will love this during Halloween.

These counting mats are free in our Teachers Pay Teachers store – click here to go there now.  Hopefully they will help you implement this center a little bit easier!  Happy October friends.
