Each letter includes the following activities that fit onto 2 notebook pages:

Color or rainbow the letter

Keyword – lift the flap and draw the keyword underneath

Make the sound – point to the dot and say the sound

Sort the letters by upper and lowercase

Pictures that start with the word – lift the flap and add more

Picture sort – glue the pictures with that initial sound in the circle, those without outside the circle

Write the letter – lift the flap and write the letter again

Start with one section. Once students are comfortable with that one, add a second section and so on and so on. Once they understand how to do the pieces they can do them independently!
