I always like to load my parents up with goodies when they take time out of their days to come and take part in their child's education! With Meet the Teacher Night quickly approaching I went ahead and made set to share!
Included is several letters:
(What we would like every kinder to know... like how to tie your shoes and your first and last name!)
(What we will learn based off the Common Core!)
(Let's Meet the People at School - Just write in the names of the people so your families can talk about all the people who can help them at school. Several options for genders as well as a blank option so you can add photos or stick figures!)
Many Posters
I actually give these to my parents at Meet the Teacher! So they can begin to work on the skills with their kids! They can be used in class as well though!
(I love the poster above because many parents think their children 'know their alphabet' but think LMNO is one letter. This chant get's kids past that point!)

DeleteThank you so much for sharing! As we switch to the Common Core we are realizing all of our current handouts need a revamp so this will really help us a lot!
ReplyDeleteI think so too! I know my old district Common Core is giving them a bi reality check for how they are pushing kids! It's a good thing all around!
