Free Printable Rhyming Puzzles
The last couple of weeks we’ve been learning about rhyming. We’ve been reading some of our favorite rhyming books like Giraffe’s Can’t Dance, Nanette’s Baguette, and Commotion In The Ocean. These Free Printable Rhyming Puzzles will help the students practice matching words that rhyme.

I wanted the students to be able to practice their rhyming words so I created these rhyming puzzles for them to work with.
You can use this as a center or a quiet early finisher game. Each matching rhyming puzzle has a picture and a word. The students can match the puzzles simply by the picture. As the year progresses, the students will be able to match the puzzles by reading the words too.
You can start off with just a few of the simpler rhyming matches, like rat and cat, and build from there.
This activity goes well with:
Simply print them on card stock, cut them out, and laminate them for durability. They would fit perfectly inside a 4 X6 photo box for easy storage as well.
