Looking for something fun to do on Valentine’s Day with your preschool, kindergarten, or even first grade class? Why now show them how special they are with this Beary Special Valentines Day Craft!
What I love about this craft is that it allows the students to write their names on the project. I love preserving their handwriting as they are learning to write. Such a great little keepsake!
We give you the bears in two different sizes. We did this because we started this craft with the intent of it going on a handled bag to collect valentines for a preschool class. I liked the idea of them being on these thicker, sturdier bag. But I realized that many teachers may want to use lunch bags and so I shrunk the craft so it fits better there as well.
And then because we know that teachers like options, we also gave it to you where you can easily print on color construction paper OR print on white paper to color, cut, and glue.
And this is just one of the many resources we have for Valentine’s Day on Simply Kinder (click here to see them all). Need some videos for Valentine’s Day? Click here for our Valentine’s Day Video list.
We also have some great no-prep activities with a Valentine’s Day theme. Everything from vocabulary, to reading real/nonsense words, adding, subtracting, and even a few no-prep centers. Click here to see more of this resource.
But my FAVORITE thing to do is Conversation Heart Science. These easy science units are perfect for preschool, kindergarten, and first grade. Students will test certain d like if the different colors dissolve the same and taste testing. Click here to see all 13 ways we test out our science skills with these festive candies.
