One of our favorite days during spirit week is Crazy Sock Day and we wanted to make it easier with this free Crazy Sock Day Flyer! It’s such a fun and easy way to show your school spirit and a little bit of your personality too.
Why we love Crazy Sock Day? Well, it is literacy based because you will read Fox in Socks on that day. It works well during Read Across America week or Dr. Seuss Week. It’s an easy spirit day activity that is not super intrusive on your classroom time. All kids can participate by just wearing two different socks. It’s cheap if you choose to get your students fun socks (dollar sections almost always have crazy socks). And it makes an adorable photo! We just love how Ms. Moser had her students sit around in a circle and showed the book in the middle. It is an adorable keepsake photo for your class that does not have student faces so it can easily be shared!
And if you are looking for some easy to implement activities, our Read and Rhyme America unit is the perfect mix of nonsense words, CVC words, numbers to 120, vocabulary, and so much more! There is even a write the room your students will love. Click here to check it out.
And, of course, Simply Kinder wants to make things easier for you, so we made this free flyer for you to inform your families. Just print, write the date, and send home. Click here to download now.
And if you are wanting to learn more about Theodor Geisel, or Dr. Seuss, we have you covered with this fun easy reader. Students will love reading the simple sentences about his life along with you and coloring the pictures. Click here to check it out.
