Letter Naming Fluency Freebie

DIBELS Benchmarking is most likely now done.  It's time to start really reviewing those letters with those kiddos!  Here's a great freebie for you that will support DIBELS!

I use these several ways:

1.  Practice saying them fast.  Give them a one minute timer.  If they don't know it skip it.
2.  Practice as a class, say "ready go" and have them stand when they reach the end of the page.
3.  Circle the upper case, cross out the lower case.
4.  Circle the letter of the day.

Use in classroom instruction, for centers, as early finishers, as bell work, or as homework!

Linking up with Kindergarten Lifestyle.  Head over for other great letter activities!

  1. Love these!! I play a game where the kids get one minute to write their abc's as many times as they can! So much fun!

    Thanks for sharing!

  2. These are great, thanks! My school doesn't require DIBELS, but I'm the only K-2 teacher so I get to choose any assessments I want and use it every year. I just love how accurate DIBELS is and that I can use it for several years to measure progress with the little guys when they loop with me.
