This is a very thorough video that explains the concepts in a way your students will understand done by 2 kids and a puppet. There are lots of real-world connections your students will understand.

Kid’s News Break: Daylight Savings Time (2:49)

I love this video – kids telling kids how Daylight Saving Time works! Highly recommend this one.

What is Daylight Saving Time? (2:40)

This video explores how Benjamin Franklin originally said it would be nice to have more daylight time and connects it to bug scientists. This video has great images and it is very concise and to the point for your students.
