Goodness how can it be the end of the school year already? Wasn’t it just January? This time of year is always chaotic for both kids and teachers. You would think that the work would be winding down, but it seems just the opposite.
Classrooms have to be cleaned; over excited students have to be organized, and don’t even talk to me about all those end of year administrative tasks! Yeesh!
Most teachers I know are completely EXHAUSTED at this point in the year. You too?
For this reason, it can be super helpful to have a cache of low prep activities ready to go at a moments’ notice. To help you, we’ve collected all our end of school activities into one post. Hopefully it will to make it easy to find a number of activities without having to flip about all over the place.
We are not suggesting that you do everything. Pick and choose the activities that will work with your class.

The end of the year is incredibly bittersweet. On the one hand, you are so proud of your students and all that they have accomplished. On the other, it is time to let go of these young learners and send them on their way. Younger students may be attached to you and find it hard to say goodbye.
